girl, put your records on

Constant self-discovery seems to be my life for the past year. In just a few weeks, it will be the one year anniversary of moving to AZ. I cannot believe how fast this year flew by. I lost a few things, gained many things, and really lived in the moment.

I rent my own place, which is adorable and I am proud of. And with my parents visiting for the first time in a couple of weeks, I get to really host and I cannot wait!

I found a home working for a popular dance studio in town as a music and theater teacher. The owner is a phenomenal person and scooped me up after she met me and forced me into her world! ha! But while it's a little crazy over there, and dealing with almost all females and dancers at that, I love it to pieces.

I still nanny, but I'm closer to picking a career. New plan...
While I would love to isolate myself on a farm and raise kids and fall in love with a down to earth country boy, I have FINALLY realized that I need to have a plan to follow while I weed out all these boys and find my mate. So I am going to try to permanent sub the rest of this year, stay in NJ for 8 weeks this summer and work there, come back to AZ and teach a year and hopefully get my certification, and then hopefully move home to NJ and find a teaching position there. Who knows who I'll meet or what will sidetrack me along the way though.

I've had an interesting and enjoyable dating life so far. I've had a lot of fun; but so far, the only one I liked enough to actually consider being serious with, I let slip away like a fool. So its constantly weeding through the men who aren't right and looking for the right one. I am determined not to settle...it is much too easy to in Yuma, but so far I've been good.

Onward and upward...
