Yesterday one of the employees packed his bags and left under cover of darkest mid-morning, without talking to us, without even telling us he was leaving.  Later my brother received a text - he left because the housekeeper I employ was annoying him.  This was a 40 year old man.  He ran away from his job because A GIRL WAS BUGGING HIM

Sadly you are right. Seasonal businesses have always had more than their fair share of crazy, now it's just crazy with the bonus of no work ethic whatsoever and a sense of entitlement that makes me want to constantly slap them.
