Found Money!!
Instead of following the advice of the Lowe's commercial and just assuming they have the lowest price, I did some checking around.
Turns out, the washer and dryer are sold at both places. Lowe's had all appliances 10% off this weekend and Sears 15%. Score for us! Sears warranty plans are arout $300 an appliance. Lowe's is $160 for the pair.
I checked and Lowe's did price matching. I was a tad bummed when the lady at the front desk told us it would be a match and not an additional 10% below.
The appliance dude just took the extra 10% off. He actually congratulated me on my research and said a job well done!
So, instead of just buying from Lowe's.. I saved us something like $400!! I rock! I asked Hubby what do I get to buy with that money. He said absolutely nothing.
Bummer! I'm still super proud though....
