I'm often asked what I think of Tennessee. My immediate response is always "It's hot." This typically elicits a laugh or a chuckle, but little commiseration: "It's hot here too! It was in the mid 80's today

Kidding.
I'm working at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, at a new facility that has been built here. I'm part of a team working on developing an instrument that will be used in condensed matter and nanomaterials studies. I'm also in the PhD program in Physics at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, but that was an odd confluence of events, which I think needs charts and graphs to fully illustrate.
