Okay! I'm a paid LJ user now. But looks like, by LJ's policy, I cannot place Click-Through Ads on my LJ pages. Extending that, I cannot place Y!Q as well, I suppose.

It's not really so redundant to have RSS as well as ads. Your blog is primarily a tool for social networking, but don't forget that it is also a website. That means people will sometimes reach it by googling for stuff. If you have a good pagerank, the ads might be useful.

Do you remember? a long time ago we were discussing how the Guitar is a costly hobby with recurring costs? Looks, like blogging is one too.

Damn! Folks at LJ seem to have gotten their business strategy right. They are extracting money outta folks who take a bus, earn in rupees and live in a poor country.

I am not succumbing yet.

I suggest you look at vinitb. This is a syndicated feed that has Y!Q ads being shipped as part of the feed
