The fact that I don't consider myself to be very much this side of attractive apparently pisses some people off. It's not an act, I swear. It's not an attempt to get validation from people who have only seen pictures of me at the angles I choose for them to see me. That would be kind of hollow, you know? it's when the extraordinarily beautiful are conscious of it that they become intolerable...thank you for being so completely unaware of what makes complete strangers stare after you in the street and propose to you in laundromats. OH YES THEY DO.

See? This is what fashion magazines do to people. And I know, I'm far from immune to it either, I'm not really fat at all and yet I'm on a perpetual diet to try and get into a smaller size, I'm always thinking "I'm ok but until I do x, y and z, I'm just sort of pretty." I totally want to do my thesis on how beauty has always been a painful method of proving that you are richer than others. (foot-binding, anyone?)

Anyways, KenzKenz you're adorable and pretty. I totally want to snuggle you. Brainspace needs to STFU if it's saying you're average. >( I don't think many people see themselves as being really good looking, unless they're really narcissistic -- even supermodels harp on their flaws and do everything possible to cover them up.
