Jack is a real struggle when it comes to school. He absolutely hates it, to the point that he writes "I hate my life" on his homework. The thing is, he gets fantastic grades. He is just so bored out of his mind that he can't stand going to school and it is making him angry about life

That's amazing that they will let him skip a grade! I was going to say they should at the very least allow him to be part of a gifted/talented program.

The problem is that our county doesn't have a gifted and talented program. They have an advanced learning program but that is just being pulled out for a few hours a week, which isn't going to help Jack. And likely with his attitude he would just think it's unfair that he has to do more work. 😂
