The now are all that are important,
Dwell not in the past,
Do not over think the future,
The profane perversion of events gone past no longer have hold on the future,
Let them go little one,
Allow yourself to be free to fly,
Feel me smile upon your face,
Feel me kiss you softly there,
Know that hope will walk with you,
She will never be completely lost,
Shrouded in shadows she sometimes hides,
Out of sight and out of mind the mischievous ones think,
The ones that would do you harm put her there,
Just to discourage you from finding the light inside the dark,
But it's only a matter of time before a child weighs all it's options fully,
Face the darkness or let things move on without them,
Facing the scary things in the big and dark unknown is terrifying,
The option is just giving up,
Not an option at all,
Persevere or not, the world moves on without you,
When you lose something that is what you do,
First you look in the obvious places,
Hope just toying with you,
When what you seek is uneasily found in all the normal, comfortable places,
You peek into the places you hope you don't find what your looking for,
It, Them, Him, Her, They,
But I've lost something more important then someone else,
Or even someone elses,
What I've lost I can't do without,
What I've lost is not replaceable,
I've lost myself,
So now the deep and dark unknown,
Becomes so much bigger, darker, deeper, thicker,
The shadow lands I must tread are the worst pieces that are inside of me,
Which means more then anything I have to find it in myself,
To forgive me for myself,
Every wrong doing, every mistake,
Every feeling I hurt,
All the things that I used to fake,
No more plastic castles,
No more shining stars,
Just me and the ugly beast inside of me,
I will fight and I will overcome,
There is no doubt,
This is after all my life we're talking about,
We can do without each other,
But not without ourselves,
So this monster I will destroy,
To restore me to myself,
To fill myself with the love,
The passion,
That I and those that are emotionally invested deserve,
So I can feel fully,
With a wholesome healthy heart,
So what I have to give to him,
Isn't simply falling apart.
