Feeling Left Out
As my 10 year high school reunion inches closer I've realized that I haven't done much since high school. I was a student at the Art Institute Online until February of 2010. I'm so sorry that you're feeling left out right now, hun. *huge, huge, huge hugs & endless love* : ( ♥ If it's any consolation at all, I know how you feel. I haven't accomplished much since high school and I also struggle with talking to others, but I have to kindly but very strongly disagree with you about something. I think taking care of your Grandma on your own, being a student and working as a substitute teacher for five years are all major accomplishments and things you can take pride in, most especially what you did for your Grandma. That was a very loving and noble thing to do for her and the amount of selflessness, courage and sacrifices it took to do that speaks volumes about your heart. If the joke is on anybody, it is on the people that bullied you. If they had just half of your kindness and courage they would not be bullies. Please don't feel like you have to prove anything to them or that there's something wrong because their lives are on a different paths than yours.
Again, for what it's worth, I've always believed that the people who are meant to be in your life will be in your life when the time is right, regardless of the obstacles. Just because you aren't married and have children right now doesn't mean that will never happen, it just means that it will happen at a different time in your life and when it does, it'll be worth the wait.
I wholeheartedly hope that you will feel much better very soon and that things will start looking up for you again. *crosses fingers tightly & sends lots and lots of good luck & good thoughts* ♥ I think I can speak for your entire friends list when I say that we are all thinking of you and wishing you the very best. : ) ♥ Please remember though, don't be so hard on yourself and please don't compare yourself to other people.
