When Jenny shut the door and locked it (just in case) to keep Nick Cutter’s frustrating issues out of her life, which was complicated enough, thank you very much, she had no idea that one day she would break down the whole bloody façade just do drag Abby’s own, better concealed, but much more worrying troubles in. It started with a teary kiss after the brother who was never there for her, who hadn’t done absolutely anything to stop his own father from hurting his stepdaughter, died in a grim future they were all so scared of now. At least that was the moment Jenny pinpointed in her neatly organized mind as The Moment she fell in love with Abby.
Her mother threw a tantrum, her older sister decided she was not welcome in her house anymore (afraid of Jenny’s corrupting effect on her children) and her younger sister shied away from her hugs. Her father looked at her apologetically and in his calm, silent voice tried to defend his daughter but the loud anger of his wife soon drowned his weak protests. Abby just wrapped her slender fingers around Jenny’s arm and gently led her out of the house of her parents. Now they were both alone and Abby never tried to pretend she wasn’t relieved.
The first time Abby showed her the cable ties Jenny almost bolted but soft lips against her own lured her into a land she had never wanted to see. For a long time Jenny woke to sweat-drenched images of Abby thrashing on the bed in ecstasy, arching into reddening slaps on too easily bruising skin. But soon Jenny came to fear the days when Abby acted like she wasn’t hollow on the inside far more. Long months of their surprisingly smooth relationship have taught her to keep a close watch on the knives when Abby was smiling.
Title: The Plan
Characters/Pairing: Cutter/Stephen, Claudia, Connor, Abby
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 164
Summary: After the Helen-fiasco Cutter and Stephen are not exactly on good terms. But enough is enough, a plan is needed. No timeline change!
Very belated Christmas present for madcatt82. I'm sorry it took me so long, I'm a busy Miss Santa. :)
The Plan
The tension was almost unbearable Claudia was close to banging some heads into the wall. Stephen was eating away at himself in guilt, casting longing looks at Cutter, who was depraving everyone from his sexy (so she had been told by Stephen once, though she had a strong suspicion he was anything but an objective judge of the matter) Scottish accent.
It was all Connor’s idea originally (which was slightly worrying) but thanks to Abby and Claudia’s feminine tact the plan was transformed ever so slightly. The toilet cubicle became an empty classroom and the “releasing a baby raptor on them” bit was gently removed from the equation altogether.
There was some angry yelling, first at them, then at each other but exactly 5 hours and 43 minutes later Claudia (who had gladly volunteered to watch over the developments in their little project) first became alert to a very suspicious silence and then heard the tell-tale moans she had been waiting for so eagerly.
Title: Giving in
Characters/Pairing: Connor/Lester, (Connor/Cutter)
Rating: R
Word Count: 360
Summary: Lester has doubts, Connor doesn't really care.
Christmas present for knitekat. I'm sorry, I wanted to write you Nick/Lester but I find it very hard to write that because I'm anything but fond of the pairing so I opted for another one I know you write. I'm sorry, I hope you'll like it anyway. *hugs*
Giving in
“No.”
It was probably one of the few things Connor didn’t want to hear just right then, his right hand cupping Lester’s obvious erection through his trousers, their mouths almost touching. It quite obviously took his brain a rather long time to process the meaning of that unlikely and highly inappropriate word.
“What?”
“I don’t want this.”
It took Lester all his self-control to force out the words and step away from Connor’s questing fingers. He was trembling inside but his face betrayed none of his emotions.
“I don’t want you.”
The sudden pain flashing across Connor’s face cut right into Lester’s core and tore him open once again. How many more times would he have to bleed on his new carpet before this childish infatuation finally faded away?
“I don’t believe you.”
A look of determination settled on Connor’s features and before Lester could protest he was pulled into a deep, desperate, pleading kiss. The last sheds of his resistance were quickly burned to cinders as Connor pressed his lithe body to his and it was all Lester could do not to take him right there on the living room floor.
They fell onto the bed in a tangle of limbs, clothes forgotten on the floor, moans filling the dark room. It was quick and frantic, nothing like it had been in so many of Lester’s heat-filled nightmares (he had refused to call them anything else) and they were close to release before he could regret doing this.
The look of bliss on Connor’s painfully young face filled him with dread and when the boy’s lips opened in a soft gasp Lester leaned in for another deep kiss, too scared of the name that might be born otherwise because he knew it wouldn’t be his. A moment later Connor came, moaning into Lester’s mouth, pushing him into his release too.
It was long minutes later, as he was lying in Lester’s arms, already half asleep that Connor spoke, placing a soft kiss above his heart.
“This wasn’t about Cutter, you know.”
Lester just nodded, tightening his embrace on the boy, still not quite believing the empty promise of affection.
Title: Miracles happen
Characters/Pairings: Connor/Nick, Malcolm Davis/Chris Parker (my new drug of choice it seems), Stephen/Ryan
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 337
Summary: Cutter is in a bad way. Connor is determined. Malcolm is worried.
Malcolm belongs to the wonderful telperion_15, Chris is mine.
Another very late Christmas present for telperion_15. (Is it really possible that the pairing you wrote most is Connor/Nick or do I need glasses? lol) Anyway, I really hope you like it dear. :)
Miracles happen
“I’d rather not leave you alone with him,” Malcolm insisted despite Connor’s pleading.
“I’ll be fine, really. He wouldn’t hurt me.”
“He’s pissed out of his mind, Connor,” Malcolm glanced at Cutter with barely veiled concern. This wasn’t exactly novelty anymore but he honestly hadn’t seen the professor in such a terrible state before. If gossip was to be believed he had been like this for a very long time after his wife disappeared but no one had expected him to fall back into the old routine when Stephen moved in with Ryan, obviously happier than he had ever been.
“I can handle it,” the determination on Connor’s face was almost more worrying than Cutter’s dark look and Malcolm could already feel a headache coming up. Babysitting so wasn’t part of his job description.
“You don’t have to take this on you, Connor,” he said, but he already knew there was no use. Part of him wanted to call Lyle to ask if his thumb wasn’t pricking by any chance but then he decided that was just childish. Connor, despite appearances, was a grown up man, who could very well take care of himself (as long as no dinosaurs, guns, puddles, moving vehicles or flying female fists were involved).
“Call me if something comes up,” he couldn’t stop himself from adding, though, as he glanced one last time at Cutter’s tense form before walking out the door.
Malcolm couldn’t get a moment’s sleep that night despite Chris’ comforting embrace. He kept looking at his mobile, trying not to imagine how easily Cutter’s fist could slip in a state of drunken anger.
He cursed under his breath when walking into the ARC he saw the angry bruise on Connor’s jaw but the boy’s smile was brighter than sunshine and even Cutter looked less haggard than he had these past months. And later that day, when he saw Cutter smile just a bit as Connor kissed him, Malcolm had to admit that sometimes Connor really had surprisingly good ideas.
Title: I loved you once in silence
Characters/Pairings: Jenny/Sarah (complicated), Jenny/OFC (sort of), Sarah/Helen implied
Rating: R
Word Count: 462
Summary: All Sarah wants is Jenny and she won't stop at anything to get her.
Unforgivably late birthday fic for lsellersfic. Her prompt was "I loved you once in silence" (duh! sometimes I suck at titles) with the pairing Sarah/Jenny. This is a bit weirder than I first intended it to be but I hope you still like it. :)
I loved you once in silence
Helen didn’t ask if she was sure about this, just handed over the necklace with a knowing smirk Sarah desperately tried to ignore. She knew this was probably the worst idea she could have come up with but nothing else seemed to be working (how could she have known that Jenny would fall asleep instead of becoming horny after a liberal amount of alcohol?).
“And in return?” she asked but Helen just smiled.
“Just take it.”
It was bad news. It meant Helen knew she would get more out of this than anything Sarah could give her now. The thought made her shiver and she didn’t thank Helen for her poison of choice as she left.
Sarah couldn’t help but fidget with the tiny device (she should have asked Helen what it was called) as she kept close watch on the door and not for the first time she ran her fingers through her hair out of habit. She almost jumped (like every time before) as she felt light brown curls instead of straight black but she had no time to reflect on it because the door opened and Jenny walked in, looking more nervous than Sarah had seen her in a long time.
“Hello Andrea,” she said and blushed deep crimson as she kissed Sarah on both cheeks. Sarah forced a smile on her face but inside she was filled with dread as Jenny spoke. “I didn’t expect you to call so soon. I thought you said you needed time to… think about… things.”
“I… missed you,” Sarah said in an alien voice and tried to crush the cancerous guilt deep inside as Jenny’s face lit up with cautious hope. She had been so relieved to find out about this woman Jenny seemed to be attracted to, it would have been unbearable to have to turn into Cutter for this, but now Sarah had the feeling she was stepping into something very fragile that would unavoidable break if she went on with this. But her hesitation was only momentary and she was only trembling with need when she clasped Jenny’s hands in hers.
Sarah tried to convince herself later that she felt guilty about what she had done but she knew well enough that given the chance she would do it again. The look of endless love and ecstasy on Jenny’s face as she came panting another’s name was all that kept Sarah going when her advances were ignored again and again. And even when she saw Jenny come in for work with too much make up to hide her red-rimmed eyes she felt no regret, only fear about Jenny ever finding out. So when Sarah went to give the device back, Helen didn’t even have to ask her to stay.
