Not what he expected (Beckett/Groves)

Jan 06, 2010 15:47

Beckett expects resistance or confused uncertainty at least but Groves opens his mouth for the questing tongue willingly and Beckett is almost disappointed. When coats fall to the ground and fabric is pushed aside there’s no eager need to match Beckett’s own arousal and it almost makes him stop, but the younger man’s open acceptance makes his hesitation crumble.

Next morning there is nothing in Groves’ silent professionalism that would indicate what happened the night before but there’s a firm knock on Beckett’s door not much after the note has been sent.

Beckett sometimes wishes there was more to it but the simple fact is: Groves knows how to follow commands.
