Hi! First of all I want to thank everyone who spent even half a second thinking of us today. It means a lot to me. And special cuddles to my girls and Fred for the comments! *cuddles*
My grandfather got into surgery very late, around 4:30 and he was in for what seemed ages but he made it, so I'm very relieved. Of course, the next couple of days are still critical, all we can do is hope no complications come up, but this was the first of many hurdles ahead and I'm just inredibly glad he made it.
We're exhausted now, mum keeps falling asleep from the pill the nurses gave her to calm her a bit. And even I'm totally ready for bed because keeping up the illusion for my father that he's still the centre of our universe is bloody hard work. Bleeeh. Anyway *huge hugs to all*
