So OSH had their no sales tax event this weekend and having given up on growing things from seeds I went to buy some that someone else already got started.
I'll take some pictures once its all potted. The yard at our house has plenty of space for planting things, but it would take a lot of work...weeding...making the soil better...etc etc...and I'm just not that energetic...or good at gardening. Also,
lordelwin's step-mom Diane pointed out it would be a pretty dry year and planting anything new in the ground was going to cost us a lot of water. So Cal is starting to fine you if you're over a certain amount.
So not only will potted plants be better at conserving water, but one of the pots will be all succulents which will be pretty easy to care for.
Here's pictures I found of the plants I will soon be killing...I mean planting and taking care of very nicely.
(Cutting this for flowery things taking up lots of picture space)
This one is Aloe California

This is a closeup of a Cobweb plant to show the reason it has that name. I think it's awesome.

Think I'm coming down with a cold. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and get to play with dirt.
