The last two days
I am officially on the downward slope of the roller coaster of life right now. Everything just seems to be going wrong.
Yesterday, my alarm didn't go off and it wasn't until a friend called to say good morning that I woke up. Thank God he called. But since I woke so late I was 20 minutes late for work. Thank God I have my prep first thing in the morning.
The day itself was not too fun. The kids are checked out.
The evening ended with me backing into a ditch while leaving South Lyon. My front, right tire was seriously a foot and a half off the ground. :( Again, Thank God that my friends are good with that kind of thing and had me out quite quickly and luckily there was no damage to my truck.
Today has begun on much the same note.
This morning I tripped while exciting my apartment and twisted my ankle.
I then get to work to find an anonymous letter from a parent in my mailbox regarding my attire at the last band concert. Apparently she felt that it was inappropriate and I guess I didn't wear the correct support for my upper torso either according to her. Did I mention that the concert was two weeks ago and that this lady didn't have the gull to say it to me in person or sign the letter. Seriously, I had a long sleeve, high-necked black shirt and black pin-stripped pants. What the heck does she want? A habit and an ace bandage? Good God. Please just let me make it through he day without anymore incidents. Please. please, please.
