My bathroom adventure
I never knew I would have such an adventure in my bathroom..
I was in my bathroom today getting ready for work. I went to open the door and it wouldn't open. I pulled several times and then started freaking out. I yelled for my sister but she didn't answer. So I called her cell phone and luckily she was still in the basement getting ready to go out. She ran upstairs and we both tried to get me out. Yes- I was trapped in my bathroom. We took off the door knob which did nothing, tried to knock the door down, tried to take the hinges off but the screws were on the inside of the door, and called our boyfriends and our guy friends to try to help us out. My parents ended up having to come home and we realized the lock was broken. So we had to keep pulling at it with tweezers and sliding a credit card down the gap between the door and the wall. Finally, after a half hour, the door opened. So then I ran around like a mad woman and sped off for work. I thought some of you might appreciate my story and laugh at me for a while.
So my advice for you is- umm..be careful when you lock old doors?? :)
