After having a rough, crazy day, all you really can do is take a deep breath, play your favorite song, read quotes like the one above, and know that its just one day out of your life and tomorrow WILL be better. I don't understand people who take out their bad days on others; one's concern for a friend is sometimes misconstrued as trying to make that person's day worse than it already is. Totally not true. Yes, everyone functions in their own ways when dealing with stress...but let others into your life sometimes. You might be surprised at how the stress might begin to disappear, layer by layer, thanks to your friends. Friends help you pull through the tough times. And the GOOD ones are there for you even when things get really crappy or scary and they even want to run and hide. To all my friends: thank you. You are all truly amazing people. Because today I had to be up at 6:30 am (and set my alarm for 5:45 PM and it obviously never went off and I overslept until 7 am), sat through approximately 5 hours of classes, got my shoe stuck in slush and sprayed by winter gunk from trucks, folded two loads of laundry, and walked into the stair railing and my night stand, I'm allowing myself to procrastinate just a little longer from my reading to do this survey.
