It's sunny out. But not too hot. Mmm.
Nanowrimo starts tomorrow, and I have an idea for what to write, despite not having planned to participate until about three days ago. It's even a strange, unusual concept that's very different from the stuff I usually write, which kind of excites me. Sadly, I'm not usually very original, but this will be an exception.
I worked today. Got in at 8 am to supervise the playroom, played with tiny kids and held babies, and then finished the reading and test section (aka the boring part) of my Medical historian training when the kids cleared out. That means that tomorrow after being in the playroom for a few hours, I'll actually be able to go observe people and start learning how to do stuff hands-on. Much less tedious, I'm sure...and of course, I'll be getting paid soon enough, which means I'll be less poor! Hurray!
I wrote, formatted, saved and scheduled the June edition of the YDWA newsletter so that it will go out by tomorrow...right on schedule despite making a bunch of last-minute changes to accommodate new info.
I looked up some information on UW's graduate programs, and it turns out that for the one I'm interested in, I don't need to take anymore tests (MCAT, LSAT, etc.). Also, it's only a 60 credit program. It's supposed to take two years, and I have no doubt that it will for me, but still, it's less than 90. That's cool.
I feel good about things in general. It's nice.
