Rebirth of an Era
Hey there!
So Liz called me up today; she was going through her old LJ entries, trying to figure out who she was secretly referring to in a post she made in highschool. Then we started going through our old entries, reading the funny ones, etc. Kinda miss it.
So we're going to try to bring LiveJournal back. Not that it actually went away or anything....just that we, and many of our friends, don't really use it much anymore. Everyones gone to MySpace and Facebook. But I like the separate functions....I like those for keeping track of friends, for posting pics and stuff. But I like this for writing notes....maybe its because those others are SO public in a way. And though I keep this one public, its not like I expect many people to actually continue to read it.
Of course, it may not be that interesting as it was in highschool. Not nearly so much drama. Emotions aren't running nearly as high. Hormones are not quite as rampaging.
So......I guess I'll update or something?
Working at Posados. Kinda dislike it a lot. Doesn't pay shit. Only work about 25 hours a week. And while I could probably get more hours there easily, I hesitate to do so because I DON'T WANT TO BE THERE. Trying to get a second job. If it doesn't work, I'm going to a temp agency and leaving old P'dos.
On a similar note, I'm poor. School loans coming up soon. I have trouble breathing when I think about it.
I've been fantasizing about going back-packing in Europe lately. Which I could never afford unless I fully paid off my loans. Anyone got $65,000 lying around that they don't need?
