Author's Notes: Wedding Fluff!  My take on Ben's vows to Leslie/Leslie's vows to Ben.

Ben's vows to Leslie ~

I wonder if you'll ever be able to know, to understand, just how much I love you. And how much I admire you, and how in awe I am of you, and how inspired I am by you.

When we first met, in that very first conversation, I thought you were cute.

After our second conversation, I thought you were cute and stubborn... make that opinionated and willful.

After our third, I added proud and smart and ambitious to the list.

Soon after came generous and strong and caring.

And today you are all of those things plus beautiful and daring and amazing.

As your husband I vow to help you become whatever you want to be, achieve whatever you aspire for, and find whatever you're looking for.

But I also promise to love you exactly as you are. And I do. So much.

Sometimes, actually oftentimes, I wonder what I did to win you, and I think I finally figured it out: a little of you, actually a lot of you, rubbed off on me. And luckily, I'm not the only one: your spirit and your heart and your drive push everyone in this room to be better and to be more bold to think and dream bigger.

So while that's why I think I won you, I still can't figure out how I deserve you.

But, at the very least, I can promise you that as my wife I will cherish you and support you and love you everyday of forever.

Leslie's vows to Ben ~

I like to think I'm a self sufficient person.

But what I've realized as time has gone by is that by working and partnering with others, the outcomes are always greater and better and more satisfying.

I learned this because of you. Because we built something together that was beyond my wildest dreams. And I'm not talking about the Harvest Festival. I'm talking about this. About this bond, this friendship, this love.

You say you don't know what you did to deserve me: you didn't do anything, it's just who are that I fell in love with and fall harder for every single day. You are thoughtful and honest and kind.
It wasn't long ago that, when I thought about my future, I saw me -- just me -- working hard for Pawnee, working hard to make a difference.

Now, the thought of doing that without you is unbearable. It is all so much more fun and rewarding with you by my side.

I am the lucky one. Truly. Not only I did I find someone who loves all my crazy habits and quirks. But that same someone is sweet and smart and good.

I am so excited to be your wife. I've never been as excited to start a project as I am excited to start our marriage.

I love you. I like you. Forever and ever.
