Visiting hours

Who: Valentine and Daniel, then Sherry and anyone else who would be there
Where: the hospital
When: Monday afternoon, day after this incident

Valentine wished he was still in LA, where Valium was pretty plentiful because he sure felt like he could use something to calm his nerves. He'd spent a lot of the morning pacing back and forth, until his father told him to settle down before he wore a hole in the floor. He hadn't told his fathers about the shooting- the last thing he'd wanted to do was freak them out, especially since they were being so nice in letting Daniel stay and everything. And worse, if they called his mother, she'd likely freak right the heck out and try to haul him home with her now that she was out of the sanitarium. He didn't want that at all.

"We should go see Sherry," he'd said to Daniel, and after a quick call, he'd confirmed that she wasn't at home, but still in the hospital. He'd called last night from the back of Alan's car after his agent had rescued them from the scene, while they were driving around all too wound up to sleep. Valentine felt guilty for leaving her there at the diner, but he'd wanted to get the heck out of there with Daniel - and neither one of them was strong enough to make it while hauling an unconscious girl around. Still, he felt bad for abandoning a friend in such a situation.

"Do you think she'll be mad?" he asked as they pulled up at the hospital. He'd made a pit stop beforehand to get flowers and a balloon that said 'Get Well Soon', because they didn' have any that said 'Sorry You Got Shot Up' (He'd actually seen that on a card once when he lived in LA - though he doubted it was made by Hallmark). "About me leaving her there to potentially die?"
