Adam sat, finishing off his drink after Clive excused himself. He stayed put for sometime, smoking and just observing. But when he saw Clive return and seemingly distract the girl from the other vampire, he couldn't help but be amused.

So, to entertain himself, he made his way over to the bar and took the seat on the other side of the brunette kindred. "You going to let some human butt in like that" he muttered, chuckling low. Such the instigator he liked to be at times.

Angel cast a sidelong glance at the other vampire. "I don't care what he does," he said in his low tone. He knew Faustina very vaguely, and his interest in her extended only as far as curiosity about her as a demon.

Boy this guy was just a ray of sunshine.

Adam let out a one breath laugh and motioned for the bartender, holding up two fingers to indicate a round for each of them. "Don't get too excited there Sunshine. You might explode or something" the green eyed vampire muttered with a smirk then offered a hand. "I'm Adam."

Angel eyed his hand, though his attention, for the most part, was still on the conversation of the couple next to them. After a moment he took Adam's hand and introduced himself with a simple, "Angel."

"Angel? What kind of name is that" Adam asked, "Your parents must've wanted you to get your ass kicked everyday in school didn't they?" There were times Adam had no tact what so ever.

Angel had thought this vampire was probably still fairly young, and the more he spoke the more he confirmed it for him.

"I wasn't much for school back then anyway," he replied.

"Oh?" Adam perked a brow "How old are you then?"

"Couple centuries," Angel said, finishing off his drink and setting it down on the bar.

"Wow. You're an old man Sunshine" Adam retorted with a short one breath laugh, knocking back his drink.

Angel had let it go the first time. "I'm not big on nicknames," he said pointedly.

"Oh c'mon, I'm just trying to lighten the mood and get a laugh or something out of ya. Or will your face crack if you smile?"

"I'm not big on smiling, either," was the bland response.

"And...apparently not much company either" Adam gave Angel a curt nod, tossed down some cash to pay for the drinks he'd ordered and left the other vampire to himself. He knew if he stuck around things would only get ugly with his mouth and the other's lack of social skills.

Angel wasn't fazed by his abrupt departure. He wasn't there to make friends, especially not with his own kind. Hell, in another setting the kid might end up dusted by him, if he caught him trying to kill somebody.

He set to work on his next drink, focusing his full attention back on the conversation next to him.
