Emil headed down as soon as he had a spare moment. He smiled to Carmen and Delilah.

"Good afternoon," he said.

"Good afternoon." Carmen smiled "I have the research for you in the box" she pointed to the box on the floor, which was filled with plastic spiral bound books of research.

"Thank you," Emil said, smiling. He picked out one of the books and started reading right there. "Oh wow..."

"I want to do more research." Carmen said, excitedly "And it is hard to find a lot of material on them, so when the ghosts see something, I go, and I record it. Sometimes it's not related, but then I just find something else to learn about. I have some artifacts, if you are interested. I have photographs in the appendix."

"You have artifacts?" Emil asked, excited by that. "Xavier would love to see those - and I would as well."

He took a look at the photographs she indicated.

"Come over some time." Carmen suggested "Or, I can bring them into the library, or to any place. I am careful with them, because they were once belongings of people."

She wasn't very good at taking pictures, but from what could be seen, she a couple of household artifacts, a weapon... and what looked like a toy.

"On Thusday, I have dinner with my best friend." Carmen said "Friday is a good day. Is that a good day for you?"

"That would be great - thank you. I have to get back to class now - but may I take these books with me?" Emil asked.

"Yes... I made the copy for you and Xavier." Carmen said "I can make another copy if you like, but it takes a very long time."

"One copy is fine," Emil assured her. "Xavier and I live together after all, we can share."

He smiled and waved as he headed out of the library.
