I could hear voices. Low and monotonous. Going on and one about something... subject? Testing... it didn't make any sense. Then again I barely had any recollection of the last few events that happened. I recalled feeling euphoric and flooded with power. Obviously Tucker and Amy had enough of me and opted to cut me loose. Their loss of course

His question caused my gaze to shift up to his face. Poor guy look extremely exhausted. Couldn't really blame him though, not only did the Succubus work her magic on him twice tonight, but it was nearing dawn. Without thinking, my hand touched his arm. "Shouldn't take too long," I replied before pulling my hand away. Whoa there Bailey, what was that all about?
We made our way down the bright halls of The Initiative, footsteps echoing as we turned down several long corridors. After a quick swipe of a personnel card and a voice verification, we stepped into the holding section.
The Succubus was still pretty out of it when we pushed the gurney into her cell, so I deemed it safe to remove her from her restraints rather than leaving her tied to the bed. Once she was set onto the floor, the gurney was wheeled out and everyone vacated the cell. As soon as she was secured I turned to face the two guards that would be taking the first watch. "No one is to speak or come close to the hostile. You may observe from the other side of the hall as a precautionary action. You must also keep radio contact with base every five minutes to ensure you haven't been compromised. Understood?"
After they took their places I looked back to Riley. "Come on, you look like you could use a ride home." Granted I did walk, but you just gotta love the perks of a company car.

"Shouldn't take too long,"
Bailey seemed to understand and see just how worn out I was. Her hand rested on my arm for a brief moment as she answered my question. It was a comforting touch, and for that brief moment, I had been about to turn to her, and smile; give her some indication that it was good to know she cared how I was feeling... Until her hand pulled away.
I forced an awkward cough then, and pretended that I hadn't noticed her being so forward, staying silent as we continued down the hallways of the Initiative. My eyes stayed locked onto the succubus which was still strapped down to the gurney at the front of the line. She did seem to be totally out of it again. 'But she looked like that last time, didn't she Riley?' he asked himself, remembering her hand on his face, sapping away his strength for the second time that evening.
The gurney was wheeled into the cell then, and I stopped where I was, with a few of the doctors and newer, less experienced guards. Sure it was embarrassing having to stay back, and act like a new agent again- but I wasn't going to take the chance of being attacked again.
Instead, I decided to go with the much safer road of listening to Agent Hayes spout off the orders to the rest of the Agents. If she needed back up on any subject, then I would chime in with my two cents. But for the moment she seemed to be handling the whole thing perfectly.
And she had been right too. The whole situation didn't last long, before Agent Hayes turned to me, and offered me a ride home. "Come on, you look like you could use a ride home." She said. My lips curved upwards in as much of a smile as I could manage at the moment.
"A ride home sounds nice right about now." I said, and began to turn towards the exits of the Initiative, nearly tripping over my own two feet in the process. "See?" I asked. "More tired then you thought, huh?" I said sarcastically. I'm sure that every single Agent in the place could tell just how exhausted I really was.

I let a light smile show through in hopes of making him feel a little better. I know that if I was in his place and looking like the walking dead I would feel more than a little self conscious. But it wasn't his fault, and I hoped the smile would kind of get that point across. None of the other agents here could blame him after all that had happened tonight. Hell, if it was anyone else, they wouldn't have still been standing.
"See? More tired then you thought, huh?"
I let out a soft laugh and could feel it causing my eyes to twinkle. There was just something about Finn that just made me feel...well, no need to think about that right now. He's just nice to be around is all. Maybe it's just because it's really late and I'm just about as tired, or at least should be. Mentally I kicked myself. I shouldn't be feeling this way, especially toward another agent.
We made our way down to the garage and I snatched up a pair of keys from the lot attendant. The car was nothing fancy, just your typical government issued civilian ride in black. Hopping into the car, I waited until he was strapped in before I started the engine and drove out of the concealed exit that was only a few miles from town.
The ride back to his Frat house didn't take that long, but the moments of silence seemed to stand still. Normally I would have been able to relax but for some reason I was feeling nervous, or something resembling nervousness. Keeping my eyes focused on the road, I practically had to bite my tongue to keep myself sitting still. I could just hear my father now. "Agent Hayes this is no way for a government agent to be acting..."
I let a silent sigh part my lips as I pulled up to the curb, thankful that I was the only one who could hear what was going on in my head. "Well here's your stop," I said finally taking a moment to look at him. "Go get some sleep."

We didn't need to say anything to each other, as we walked to the garage for a car. Just a smile between friends and teamates was enough to tide us over during the car ride back to the Frat house. I forced myself to continue chatting, about the events of the day most of my banter was rambling and probably made no sense- but I had to do it to keep awake.
Thank the Lord the ride wasn't all that long. We were pulling up to the curb, and I should have been moving, should have been opening the door and stepping out of the car by now. Why wasn't I moving? I coughed to clear my throat and smiled back at Bailey. "Thanks for taking care of me tonight." I said to her. I had to let her know that I cared for all she'd done when she hadn't had to.
My hand longed to reach out and touch her shoulder, or her cheek, or her hand, but I kept it still. 'Keep professional...' A voice in my head warned me. "Really, I probably wouldn't have gotten back home tonight if you hadn't thought to get me a ride back." A moment passed as I tried to find something to say while keeping my eyes open. "Well goodnight." I finally decided to say, before opening the door and hurrying out. I waved the car off, and without a look after it, trudged myself back into the House and up to my bedroom, where I collapsed on my bed fully clothed.
I fell asleep almost instantly.
