I could hear voices. Low and monotonous. Going on and one about something... subject? Testing... it didn't make any sense. Then again I barely had any recollection of the last few events that happened. I recalled feeling euphoric and flooded with power. Obviously Tucker and Amy had enough of me and opted to cut me loose. Their loss of course

Almost immediately after Delta team had arrived to take the succubus back to the Initiative, I had said quick goodbyes to Bailey and the rest of the team. All I wanted to do was get back to the dorm, and sleep. But my duties called me back to the Initiative before I'd even gotten halfway back to campus. I was expected to be there when the succubus woke up, probably to oversee some new experiment or other that Professor Walsh had cooked up in the past few weeks. This mission was very important to her...
So, here I was. Walking through the bright hallways of the Initiative, just after exiting the elevator from the dorm. I didn't see anyone I recognized. No, scratch that- anyone I really wanted to see at the moment. My mind flashed quickly back to the kiss Bailey had given me at the Bronze, before everything had unfolded the way they had. I shook my head, forcing myself to stay in the moment, and not in memory. She was probably on her way back here now anyway, and would show up soon enough.
I could see the doctors crowding around the table I knew the succubus would have been strapped down to by now. They leaned over her anxiously, poking and prodding at her with their usual instruments. I crossed my arms over my chest, still dressed in my casuals, overlooking the situation from a good eight or nine feet away. I could see her face, moving very slowly at first- as if she was just waking up- before her eyes slowly began to flutter open and she realized just how serious the situation she was in really was.
Her arms struggled to break free from the restraints she was in, the movements sluggish and weak. "That's not going to work." I informed her, speaking up from behind the other members of the Initiative, keeping my distance from the creature. "Even if you could get free, I highly doubt you could drain all of us here, before we finally caught up with you again. You wouldn't even make it to the doorway." I said, looking back towards the elevator, which was a good number of feet away. At the moment, the odds were in our favor.
((I hope this post is okay, it being my first and all...)

"That's not going to work."
I heard a voice, familiar yet distant from where I was being kept. I turned my head trying to seek out the source of it. It was him. The blonde from the night before... I should have sensed something was wrong. I had felt it a moment before the girl had struck me. He had been too easy a mark. Even when I had him in my grasp though I knew something was off. There was something working against his own body.
"Even if you could get free, I highly doubt you could drain all of us here, before we finally caught up with you again. You wouldn't even make it to the doorway."
He glanced to a doorway. Probably the way out of this place. He was right though. I wouldn't be able to take them all. At least not all at once. He looked so smug standing over there. He thought this was going to be simple. They all did. They had caught a time bomb though. Just because I couldn't feel didn't mean I couldn't harm them.
I knew I didn't want the blonde though. I started to plan it out in my head. There was something working against his own body. I couldn't tap the energy from him, however I could twist his neck with a swift turn. I just needed to get up. There were three people in white above me. Poking and proding at me. It was most unpleasant. However it would have to do for now.
Tucker and Amy had made a monster when they brought me forth. The mere act that brought me to this plane was more than a simple casting. I knew how much more power I had. How strong I could be if I wanted to. They didn't.
I glanced up into the eyes of the first man hovering above me. Through plastic eyeware I locked eyes with him. I was drawing him in slowly. Sending him signals with a single glance. Flirting, making him feel wanted. Something I was sure they all thought they weren't at some point in their life. I just needed one of them.
I saw his movements stop. He just stood their transfixed by my gaze. This was almost too simple. He nodded in agreement with me. I didn't even have to tell him what I wanted him to do. He wanted it more than he could have thought he did. His hands moved above me and started to unfasten my wrist restraints.
"Agent Finn... we have a problem..."
The other one spoke, but it was too late, my one hand was free, and although I couldn't feel it I still was able to grab a hold of the man who had assisted me. His skin pressed into my palm I felt him start to seize. I was pulling from him, and within moments I was able to at least sit up. Freeing my feet and my other hand, I sat up shoving the one who spoke up out of the way.
"Do you think that I woudn't even try? Shame, I thought we had shared a moment before."
The Finn went to move towards me. But I shook my finger at him.
"Ah, ah, ah... remember what happened last time!"
It was a bluff on my part, I wasn't about to drain anything from him. He was toxic. I just wanted to buy myself some time. Try to see if anyone else would be stupid enough to come close to me.

Slipping on my sneakers, I made way outside. I wonder what the sisters thought when they saw me leaving in the middle of the night? Well some of them probably thought I was going out for some late night 'nookie.' Yeah, that'd be the day. I shook my head at the idea. Yeah, need to stop thinking about that right now before those thoughts head towards the kiss and Riley and...well damn.
Making my way down the bright white halls of the Initiative, I gave silent nods to all those I passed. I let out a heavy sigh as I made my way towards 'The Pitt.' This really was a once in a lifetime experience, so I don't know why I wasn't excited to be here. Oh wait, it's past midnight. But it's not every day you take down a Succubus. A light smile fell across my face. Okay so maybe I was a little proud.
My expression fell when I came into view of the table. I couldn't believe someone would be stupid enough to let her out of her restraints. Shaking my head, I crouched down and made my way around the perimeter so I ended up behind her. This wasn't good. I got down to my hands and knees and crawled to the edge of The Pitt. This wasn't going to be a pleasant fall.
"Ah, ah, ah... remember what happened last time!"
Bringing myself to my feet, I pushed off the railing and hopped over the edge, being sure to bend at the knees as I landed with a light thud. "Yeah, I kicked your ass." Just as she spun around to see me, I shifted my weight and sent a round kick into her side, causing her to fall to the floor. Quickly I shifted my weight once my foot came down and took a fighting stance. "It would be in your best interest not to resist."

My eyes grew wide as she sat straight upwards on the table, and my first instinct forced me to move forward, to try and contain her for the sake of the Iniative, and whatever Professor Walsh had wanted us to keep her alive for.
"Ah, ah, ah... remember what happened last time!" The succubus chimed to me, shaking her finger in my direction. I stopped in my tracks, realizing that my original idea was definatly not the best plan. Behind me, I heard something land on the floor, thudding softly, and my head whipped to the side just in time to watch Agent Hayes running past me.
"Yeah, I kicked your ass."
I heard her say, and raised my eyebrows in a pleasant suprise as I watched her take charge of the situation again. "Just in time." I said from behind her, moving into my own fighting stance, and reaching down towards my waist line for a weapon. 'Oh, Hell.' I thought to myself, as I realized I was still dressed in the clothes I had worn to the Bronze. I didn't have any weapons on me.
"Can you handle her again?" I asked Bailey quickly, once again stepping forward, ready to risk myself if I was needed. I didn't want to die anytime soon, but I wasn't about to let Agent Hayes die either, just because I didn't have a weapon on hand at the moment. If need be, my hands and physical force would just have to do.

I needed a moment to think. Of course like a typical male I could sense that he was feeling a bit less than preppared. I watched out of the corner of my eye as he went for a weapon, that wasn't there. I smiled and just waited.
"Can you handle her again?"
He stepped closer... that was just what I needed. A bit of a fix. The girl turned to him, more confident about her strike down than she should have been. I might have been drugged but my system was running through the stuff like it was water, and soon I would be back up to what was normal for me. I was metabolizing the drug and without the IV in me pumping it in, this would be over quick.
I just lay there, acting the fool. Playing the part of the good victim. The doctors leaned over me and started to pick me up to move me onto the table again. My hands were dragging along the floor for a moment and that was just enough time for me to act.
Planting my hands onto the ground I put all of the force I could muster into my upper body, I pulled with my hips and yanked the men attempting to carry me to the ground and then hopped up onto my feet.
The two agents were a bit off guard, as I was sure a night of less than restful sleep had done them in. I moved forward quickly and grabbed the male. My hands wrapped around his body, and I placed my palm upon his cheek. I could feel the charge in an instant, polluted or not I needed this... I needed it to survive.
"See, I don't think you can handle me again. And whatever is in this one? I bet is in you too."

Knocked out again, the succubus' knuckles dragged along the floor as they began to pick her up and move her back to the table. So, of course I was shocked when the succubus moved quickly, placing her hands on the floor and dragging the doctors to the ground with her. 'Note to self, suggest more powerful drugs for any succubus we may encounter in the future.' I thought quickly, stepping backwards again, and into a fighting stance.
The succubus moved quicker then I'd expected, and before I could react, she was on me. Her hand pressed against my cheek, and I knew instantly what she was doing. She was using her powers on me, to drain me.
"See, I don't think you can handle me again. And whatever is in this one? I bet is in you too."
Placing one hand on her stomach, and the other on the wrist that belonged to the hand against my face, I mustered up my energy before she sapped it all away, and began to push her away from me. The moment her palm left my cheek, I could feel my energy begin to return again. Like that really said anything though. I was already as tired as hell, and now it felt like I was literally running on empty. Using my remaning strength, I turned the girl around and pushed her against the table she had been laying on previously, wrapping her arms behind her back, and holding them together at the wrists.
I wasn't positive if she was able to work her magic that way or not, so I called Bailey over to me. "Can you help me here?" I asked the girl. "I don't think I should be standing so close." That was when what the succubus had said finally hit me. I glanced over her shoulder at her, and frowned. "What do you mean whatever is in me?" I asked her, frowning.
Was this just another game of hers?

I watched as Riley stepped into action and quickly pined the girl under him. Bold move for someone she had just taken a 'taste' of...a light grin fell across my face. No wonder he was Walsh's golden boy.
"Can you help me here? I don't think I should be standing so close."
His voice snapped me out of my little daydream, and I looked around to see pretty much everyone standing around clueless. No it's okay, I can deal with this without any help. Refraining from rolling my eyes I quickly assessed the situation. We needed to get her secured, but unfortunately I left any restraints I had in my other purse.
Moving over to the IV that was set up next to the table, I grabbed the plastic tubing and ripped it from the bag. Giving Riley a nod, he took a step back and I slid between him and the girl. Okay, can't focus on the closeness here. Taking a deep breath, I wrapped the tubing around her wrists and tied it off. It would at least give us a little time to get her sedated.
"What do you mean whatever is in me?"
I blinked as we pulled away from each other and a white coat swooped in with a fully loaded syringe. Something in us? Was she talking about drugs? Because I never in my life had taken anything illegal. Just supplements and vitamins issued by the government...
I shook away the thoughts and helped turned her over and strap her back down to the exam table. "We need to get her contained and discuss the risk factors with Walsh before further experimentation commences."
Motioning to the guards that had now filled The Pitt, I waited for them to take her into custody. "Come on Finn, let's make sure she makes it to her new home," I commented with a faint hint of sarcasm.

"We need to get her contained and discuss the risk factors with Walsh before further experimentation commences."
Agent Hayes said, snapping me back to reality again. She was tying the form of the girl back down to the table now. I felt like I should have been helping, but at the moment, I could do no more then offer my helpful comments to her from the sidelines. "Yeah, you're right." I offered helpfully, trying to rub the lack of sleep out of my eyes before looking up again.
Guards were gathering around now, ready to take the succubus away. Agent Hayes nodded to them, and I watched as the girl, table and all were being swept away from us.
"Come on Finn, let's make sure she makes it to her new home."
'One more stop tonight,' I told myself, urging my body to keep up with Bailey. 'And then you can rest.' "How long do you think this'll be exactly?" I asked, hoping it would be no more then a few minutes.

His question caused my gaze to shift up to his face. Poor guy look extremely exhausted. Couldn't really blame him though, not only did the Succubus work her magic on him twice tonight, but it was nearing dawn. Without thinking, my hand touched his arm. "Shouldn't take too long," I replied before pulling my hand away. Whoa there Bailey, what was that all about?
We made our way down the bright halls of The Initiative, footsteps echoing as we turned down several long corridors. After a quick swipe of a personnel card and a voice verification, we stepped into the holding section.
The Succubus was still pretty out of it when we pushed the gurney into her cell, so I deemed it safe to remove her from her restraints rather than leaving her tied to the bed. Once she was set onto the floor, the gurney was wheeled out and everyone vacated the cell. As soon as she was secured I turned to face the two guards that would be taking the first watch. "No one is to speak or come close to the hostile. You may observe from the other side of the hall as a precautionary action. You must also keep radio contact with base every five minutes to ensure you haven't been compromised. Understood?"
After they took their places I looked back to Riley. "Come on, you look like you could use a ride home." Granted I did walk, but you just gotta love the perks of a company car.

"Shouldn't take too long,"
Bailey seemed to understand and see just how worn out I was. Her hand rested on my arm for a brief moment as she answered my question. It was a comforting touch, and for that brief moment, I had been about to turn to her, and smile; give her some indication that it was good to know she cared how I was feeling... Until her hand pulled away.
I forced an awkward cough then, and pretended that I hadn't noticed her being so forward, staying silent as we continued down the hallways of the Initiative. My eyes stayed locked onto the succubus which was still strapped down to the gurney at the front of the line. She did seem to be totally out of it again. 'But she looked like that last time, didn't she Riley?' he asked himself, remembering her hand on his face, sapping away his strength for the second time that evening.
The gurney was wheeled into the cell then, and I stopped where I was, with a few of the doctors and newer, less experienced guards. Sure it was embarrassing having to stay back, and act like a new agent again- but I wasn't going to take the chance of being attacked again.
Instead, I decided to go with the much safer road of listening to Agent Hayes spout off the orders to the rest of the Agents. If she needed back up on any subject, then I would chime in with my two cents. But for the moment she seemed to be handling the whole thing perfectly.
And she had been right too. The whole situation didn't last long, before Agent Hayes turned to me, and offered me a ride home. "Come on, you look like you could use a ride home." She said. My lips curved upwards in as much of a smile as I could manage at the moment.
"A ride home sounds nice right about now." I said, and began to turn towards the exits of the Initiative, nearly tripping over my own two feet in the process. "See?" I asked. "More tired then you thought, huh?" I said sarcastically. I'm sure that every single Agent in the place could tell just how exhausted I really was.

I let a light smile show through in hopes of making him feel a little better. I know that if I was in his place and looking like the walking dead I would feel more than a little self conscious. But it wasn't his fault, and I hoped the smile would kind of get that point across. None of the other agents here could blame him after all that had happened tonight. Hell, if it was anyone else, they wouldn't have still been standing.
"See? More tired then you thought, huh?"
I let out a soft laugh and could feel it causing my eyes to twinkle. There was just something about Finn that just made me feel...well, no need to think about that right now. He's just nice to be around is all. Maybe it's just because it's really late and I'm just about as tired, or at least should be. Mentally I kicked myself. I shouldn't be feeling this way, especially toward another agent.
We made our way down to the garage and I snatched up a pair of keys from the lot attendant. The car was nothing fancy, just your typical government issued civilian ride in black. Hopping into the car, I waited until he was strapped in before I started the engine and drove out of the concealed exit that was only a few miles from town.
The ride back to his Frat house didn't take that long, but the moments of silence seemed to stand still. Normally I would have been able to relax but for some reason I was feeling nervous, or something resembling nervousness. Keeping my eyes focused on the road, I practically had to bite my tongue to keep myself sitting still. I could just hear my father now. "Agent Hayes this is no way for a government agent to be acting..."
I let a silent sigh part my lips as I pulled up to the curb, thankful that I was the only one who could hear what was going on in my head. "Well here's your stop," I said finally taking a moment to look at him. "Go get some sleep."

We didn't need to say anything to each other, as we walked to the garage for a car. Just a smile between friends and teamates was enough to tide us over during the car ride back to the Frat house. I forced myself to continue chatting, about the events of the day most of my banter was rambling and probably made no sense- but I had to do it to keep awake.
Thank the Lord the ride wasn't all that long. We were pulling up to the curb, and I should have been moving, should have been opening the door and stepping out of the car by now. Why wasn't I moving? I coughed to clear my throat and smiled back at Bailey. "Thanks for taking care of me tonight." I said to her. I had to let her know that I cared for all she'd done when she hadn't had to.
My hand longed to reach out and touch her shoulder, or her cheek, or her hand, but I kept it still. 'Keep professional...' A voice in my head warned me. "Really, I probably wouldn't have gotten back home tonight if you hadn't thought to get me a ride back." A moment passed as I tried to find something to say while keeping my eyes open. "Well goodnight." I finally decided to say, before opening the door and hurrying out. I waved the car off, and without a look after it, trudged myself back into the House and up to my bedroom, where I collapsed on my bed fully clothed.
I fell asleep almost instantly.
