Where do I go from here?
I've officially had it with LA. After a weekend of contemplation and more isolation, I've decided it's time to get the ol' thinkin' cap on, start reassessing what's important to me and where I need to be in order to achieve a peaceful life.

I'm glad you came by and posted a comment. In re-reading this post, I can see how it might have been hard to get through since my thoughts were so disjointed (and clearly coming from a very hurt space). But it's good to know I'm not the only one who sees these things, experiences them, and then calls "BULLSHIT" on it.
I agree with you (and, incidentally, would have been happy you'd read it even if you debunked everything I'd said). Every place has it's culture and it's social attitude. This place is one that breeds temporary bursts of enthusiasm. Considering that most folks either work IN or FOR or AROUND the entertainment industry, I guess it does kind of figure, right? Practically everything they do requires everyone to work as a team for a limited amount of time and then they move on to something else. Perhaps this somehow translates into their personal lives, and those who manage to maintain any semblance of longevity are those who somehow learned the value of stability.
In any case, I'm glad you commented and I wish more folks would. I see that quite a few people ogle my blog on MySpace, so I know people are migrating over here. Thanks for speaking up!!! :-)
PS. I *heart* Carol! She's such a pistol! And if you want to get a good giggle out of her, call her the Bone Hammer! hehehee
