HEADACHE. You know, I love Australia. Up until the very moment I have to buy something, and then I HATE it.
I am in desperate need of shoes, DESPERATE. You have no idea. I own several pairs of haviannas (but I only wear one pair really, and they're so worn down), a cheap pair of wedges, a cheap pair of fold up ballet shoes, and a pair of work boots for gardening etc. Oh, and a pair of summer sandals.
I HAVE NO WINTER SHOES. I hate buying shoes, I always have, they're so expensive and I'm so picky. But it's seriously becoming an issue not having shoes, especially in winter.
And to buy shoes here is just, ridiculous. So expensive, for like...generally terrible quality. If I had a job, I would probably hate the experience less, but I have no job, or money, so picky cheap bastard it is.
So like, I've been looking online, and I've found a few I like, but just...everything is putting me off! Postage is an issue, sizing is an issue, and sometimes price...and I'm just, scared I'll order something and they'll look shit, or won't fit, and then I'll end up paying a fortune in returns etc.
GUH. I've been looking like, all day, and I have such a headache. FUUUUCKK. Why can't I be a millionaire/American. Fuck my life lolllll.
There's a few sales on leather shoes on Urban Outfitters but their $30 postage makes me want to vomit. ASOS is alluring thanks to their FREE postage but not so enticing collection/prices. There's a few other English shoe sites that I'm looking into, with postage of only about 9 pounds but most of those shoes aren't leather and I'm not paying like $50-60 for non leather shoes, I may as well buy them here :/
ANYWAY more importantly, the royal wedding is in less than two hours! I am glued to my tv, it's embarassing. I have my tea, and my bikkies, and I had a cucumber sandwich for lunch. it's about as English as I get.
I am so excited to see her dress!
I have so much more to say but I will update post-wedding.
