H DIZZLE
I am so incredibly over tired right now but I can hardly contain myself.
Maybe it's just because I'm so excited right now? But. I swear that is by the far the best one yet, even though it was all slow moving etc.
They skipped over a lot, sure, but thinking realistically, it was pretty easily miss-able stuff. And they stayed so true to the book which is a really nice change.
I can hardly think of a single thing to fault.
I can't imagine what it's like to watch it without reading the book first though. I really think that they mostly just aim these movies towards the actual book fans, not so much movie fans haha.
Alright so anyway MY NIGHT.
Got train to Hornsby, freaking other side of town, to meet my friend around 8.30. we went and got dinner and coffee after. I GOT A MINT HOT CHOCOLATE. Highlight of my night besides HP!
Anyway waiting at entrance to cinemas, we were like THE OLDEST PEOPLE THERE I swear! And we are very judgemental. Some dickhead 13yr olds brought a guitar and definitely could not play it. And a ukelele. Death.
And then some 14yr old girls decided to dress up as 'skanky Hogwarts student lyk ommmggg'. Excuse to wear heels, a short skirt, and a long tie (my friend said it's the 'omgzz just had sex with my bf' tie hahahaha).
and then, a bunch of guys around our age who looked way too 'cool' for Harry potter, in their ugly v neck tees and skinny jeans.
And they sat behind us in the cinema, and at first they were all WHOO YEAH GINNY'S HAWWT but then throughout the movie we kept hearing them whispering stuff to each other referencing the books and that made me so happy hahaha.
OK SO IMPORTANT BITS:
- HOLY SHIT HARRY AND HERMIONE KISSED AND IT WAS SO FUCKING AWKWARDD. They were totally going at it, AND THEY WERE NAKED WTF. I so didn't see that coming.
- The Ron/Hermione plot was SO SO GOOD all the way through! Oh god, it was adorable without being too adorable. Just right.
- Ginny being all, ohhh zip me up! And then, KISS. yeah, I'm so not into Harry/Ginny, it's been weird since the start. But George being all, MORNING! was hilariouuss.
- OMG LMAO IN THE TENT, WHEN RON GIVES HARRY THE WAND. So effing random but then...'engorgio...REDUCO!' hahahahaha. omg you have no idea how much that made me laugh. and i dont know how to spell spells?
- Just Fred and George in general <3
- DOBBY. SO ADORABLE. AND SAD.
omg there's so many other things I enjoyed. Ridiculous. The scene in the diner was SO COOL also.
