I need to get in the habit
I think I am going to take a page put of a really good friends book and make a commitment to write something everyday. They say it helps with healing and it can show me that my life is not as boring as I think it is. We shall see about that. Today I need to call the Doc to get Abby an appointment. She has a cold but I'm not worried about that. What I am worried about is the lumps on her neck. She says they hurt. So to the doctor we go. Abby got up and to school really well today. No melt downs, fits or yelling. YAY!
The holiday was fun.
On the 3rd we went downtown Kennesaw to the Big Shanty Festival. We had a lot of fun Abby went on the huge inflatable slide and we went on the train ride. We got some kettle corn freshly made. They didn't have all the free stuff they had last year but it was still fun. We met up with one of Abby's little friends from school and they played until they di the fireworks. I was a really great show and we had really great seats.
On the 4th I went out and got some fireworks to do at home. Nothing big but Abby thought they were great. The neighbors had fire works from South Carolina and they were very impressive. We also found out that we can watch the fireworks from Lake Acworth at the corner of our street. Abby and I watched the Lake Acworth fireworks until Abby's new friends came home and she ran down into the coldasac. I went after her and got to meet some of the neighbors. They are really nice. After a while I took Abby home and then went back and joined the party. It was fun but I have to remember to stay away from the tequila.
Changed hair colors again. I bleached the brown out. Not all the color has come out. So now I have blond, pink, purple, strawberry blond, and brown spots. I like it. I have pics that I will put up. It will be a while before I could change it cause I need to let my scalp heal. I seem to be having a lot of bad reactions to chemicals lately. I have had to stop using hair removal creams cause of really bad burns and now the hair bleach. I will really be bummed if I couldn't change my hair again.
I got a call from my cousin telling me that her Grandmother might not be around much longer. He Dad called her back to tell her not to go and see her that it was a false alarm. He is one of the biggest assholes in my opinion. Knowing what I do I shouldn't be surprised he would do something like this but it blows my mind. It took over night but what I told her sunk through and to my surprise she called me this morning saying she is getting ready to go to MI. I wish her the best of luck and safe travel.
Last night we ordered food from Quiznos online. We waited like an hour for our food. I tried to call but the phone just rang. About 10 minutes before closing I ran up there to find out what was going on with our order. It would not be the first time a place lost our food order. I get the to find out that the store was very closed and had a sign directing people to another store. I was pissed. So I ended up getting Arby's. Well on the way to Arby's I saw a lot of cops surrounding a gas station. I was on the phone with Lenny and had mentioned it to him but really didn't think much about. I thought maybe it was just an accident. In some of the states we have live I have seen some pretty odd shit. On the way back from Arby's I saw a bunch of lights looked across the street and saw a news van but it didn't really register until I looked back at the gas station and saw the yellow CAUTION tape. Then things started to come together. I called Lenny to find out what was going on. I got home and found out there was an altercation with a County cops and a guy. The guy injured the cop so the cops killed him. DAMN! I wish I had my camera.
I need to get back into my photography. I need to do something. I applied for a few jobs. Now word yet. I am kinda scared to go back to work. I might go back to school. We shall see.
