My wedding day doesn't come with an exciting story and I don't have any pictures to post, except for this one::
It was a very intimate affair of 4, two of the four being strangers, and most of our friends and family didn't know we were going to do it. Curtis and I have been together for nine years and honestly, we've felt like we were in a marriage for several years now.
We basically eloped, with the exception of asking my dad for permission the night before.
Here's a picture of my husband taken today::
And this one was taken a long time ago, when the bowl cut hairdo was all the rage (he's the cute blond boy standing on the left)::
I've never had a conversation with any of my many married girlfriends about the process of changing your maiden name after the ceremony. It seems like a daunting task, like all the other times that would require a visit to the social security office or DMV. Unless it's the DMV in Omaha. I took this picture of the freakishly empty line at the Omaha DMV last year:::
I never really knew when exactly a maiden name was changed. Apparently, I'm Sunnee Register until I get a new social security card at which point I will be Sunnee Beebe.
I don't even know if that's true.
