One Whole Year

Today has officially been an entire year of being married. Jason and I have been through a lot this year, but we made it through. The house is coming along quite nicely. I am hoping to be moved in pretty soon. Here is the list of what still needs to be done: the bathroom, meaning taking out the tub and getting rid of the the mold on that wall, putting in the cabinets, sanding the living room and bedroom, putting in the floor and painting. Really after those things are accomplished we will be able to move in. It should not take too much longer even though it sure sounds like an awful lot.

Jason had the most beautiful roses sent to work this morning. I can't believe how beautiful they were. Then I got sent home to spend time with Jason, even after telling my boss that he was in Appleton for the day. So I went shopping and to lunch with my sisters. I put the finishing touches on Jason's gift and I think he will really like them.

Work is okay. It's been a little crazy as of late. I mean we are constantly being sent home early. I feel like every paycheck is less and less because of the hours that are being cut. I am afraid that if we keep losing families that we are going to get shut down due to lack of enrollment. I mean really we only have like 40 kids in the entire center. It is pretty pathetic. I'm hoping I get a call from the hospital soon. I need a backup plan.

School is really just around the corner. I am strangely excited! I miss being with my friends, and I am rather board. I am used to doing 110 things at one time, and it's been not so fun having nothing to do. After this weekend I am going to go and track down my books to see if I can get them for any cheaper. I hate buying books at the bookstore. I mean really do they need to charge $120 for a used book?

This weekend Jason and I are going to the Dells, and after that it's time to get serious. We have to finish the house, and we both have to get ready for the new school year. Jason will be in his 3rd year of the apprenticeship.Okay, I guess that's all I have for now. I realize that this post was all over the place.
