Memorial Day Weekend

I love long weekends! There is always so much to do, but it was great having the extra day off. Friday was date night with my husband. He took me out to dinner at Las Palmas, one of my most favorite Mexican restaurants. Then we went to see Indiana Jones. It was the first movie we have gone to see in a really long time. After that, we went to the Sin Bin, the rugby bar that Jason's team owns. We headed there to give our wishes to one of the teamates who would be returning to France.

Saturday we had a wedding to be at in the middle of nowhere at 2pm. I wore my super cute Spiegel dress and Guess shoes. I felt beautiful. Jason had a tie to match my dress and we looked great together. We pretty much stayed around the rugby team and danced the night away. I had agreed to drive, so as the night progressed I knew Jason wouldn't make it much longer. We got home around midnight. It was a great time.

Sunday we went to a barbeque at Brian's house. Brian is a friend of my families that we see a lot. We had great ribs and a shrimp salad. It was a great meal and it was a lot of fun. Again we were out pretty late and didnt get a lot of sleep.

Monday we headed to Ted's(Jason's dads house), for lunch. After a major family fight we headed to my families house to eat dinner. Jason practiced with his bow that I bought him for his birthday. We ate dinner and headed home. We went to bed at like nine oclock. It was nice to be able to sleep for more than a few hours in a night.

It was a great weekend, but I was not ready to go back to work this morning. I still have to wrap up the scholastic book fair, and finalize all of the paperwork. I am ready for that to be over with. In all honesty, it was great and a lot of fun but it lasted too long. This week will be a boring one. I have a staff meeting tomorrow night after work until 815.Thursday night I have class until 10pm after work, and Friday I have to babysit Courtney until 7 or 8 at night. Saturday is supposed to be a rugby day, but I should really stay home and clean and work on homework and summer lesson planning. I have so much to do and so little time to do it all in. I guess that is all for now.

work, scholastic book fair, memorial day weeekend
