Colin's back
Idle thought while watching Whose Line on ABC Family last night. Did Colin ever hurt his back on the show? I know the infamous Ryan's back incident, of course. I've heard references to Colin also having a bad back but if there was an incident on the show I missed it. What got me wondering was the episode where the contortionist is on (Wayne sings to her, then she is the prop in Living Scenery). After Wayne's song, Ryan says about her routine "that was originally how I hurt my back". The emphasis is on "my" as if they had been talking about someone else's back prior to that. Then, when they're all coming down to play Hats, Ryan stops Colin from picking up their box, and you can hear him say "I'll get the box". Finally, during the credit reading, the contortionist is back, teaching the guys her movements. Greg and Wayne are both on the floor trying to copy her. Colin and Ryan are just standing there watching... not unusual for Ryan but it's the kind of thing Colin normally would have been doing. So I was curious.
Obviously I was way overthinking this. That's what happens on a Friday night when you're home watching TV :-)
And the more important question: If Colin did hurt his back, did Ryan give him one of those naked backrubs we all love writing about? ;-)
