And about your dad....sheesh. I've been reading about him since we were first LJ friends...probably what? 2 years ago?? maybe more? And there are two things that I have to say O.o
1)He sounds so incredibly childish--and honestly, I'm glad at least one of you is being the adult. It's not fair to you at all, but hopefully it helps you grow as a person, so that one day you can look back on all this and really congratulate yourself for being able to get through this, especially pretty much by yourself. :\ I know that's not really that inspiring--character building and whatnot >.<, but I'm serious. It will make you stronger than people who haven't had to deal with this...For example, say you have a hot-head boss one day, but you love your job and you get paid well...you'll be able to deal with it in a level headed way and chose your path wisely because you know how to keep yourself in those kinds of situations...(instead of socking him in the mouth and landing in jail for assault like I probably would :) okokok, but seriously, it applies to a lot of things---groupwork to jobs to teachers to friends---and at least if you know you can deal with this, trust me, you'll be able to handle anything life throws at you.
2)You're absolutely AMAZING. :D and I am SO happy--SOOOO happy that you got this merit scholarship. If it's what is going to allow you to go where you want to go, then praise be. Seriously. :D (and besides, it just is tangible proof how intelligent and amazing you are <3)
Stay strong with your dad...you only have a few more months until you're on your own :)
