Having a single AND a house raises your grades so much. I'm really happy for you!

PPA is a ROUGH class. I seriously think Schlewitz 4.0ed me only because I turned in a 27-page final paper (instead of 12 pages) and he thought I was hott. No joke. 3.7 from Grossman means a lot. He's a hard ass!

I know how you feel...I never feel like I do well enough. I graduated high school with a 3.8 and expected Albion to be a lot easier. I'd say I went to a harder high school than college, so I assumed straight 4.0ing would be easy. It's not. I feel like a total loser that I graduated with a 3.64 which looks subpar in my eyes. I'm that girl with the 3.7s and 4.0s. In time, we'll both find ways to come to terms with our accomplishments and the grades will slowly come to mean nothing in the midst of grad school, jobs, families, and who you are as a person. Also, grad schools are more interested in what you've done and how you've proven your interests and passions OUTSIDE the classroom than your GPA. I mean, if you're a 3.95 student with no clue about serious ideas about the world or having a personality, you won't get into grad school programs. Better to be well-rounded than a one-sided academic...because kind of TRUE academic is that? (It just means they haven't learned to think for themselves!)

Also, what are you applying to do for grad school? If you're looking into MA PS or MPA, look at Indiana U's SPEA. It's - so - amazing. It's like a better, smaller, less stuck-up U of M.

I bought the Kaplan GRE prep book with CD = $36 and vocab review note cards = $12 at Borders. :)
