I've been sort of MIA recently; things have been crazy with the end-of-the-year stress and things to do.  Finals actually weren't that crazy this year, but I've had a lot on my mind. I'm officially done with school; the Senior/Junior fashion show ended a few hours ago. I didn't have anything in the show, obviously, but all the fashion students have to help out backstage. It was actually significanlty less crazy than I thought it was going to be.  It was too chaotic to get a good luck at more than a few of the outfits, which was sad since I'd have really liked to see them all.

Alonso got neutered yesterday. -_- Poor bunny.  He's actually done really well, though. I called to check up on him yesterday afternoon, and the receptionist said that she'd seen him hopping around so excitedly that she asked him if he was sure he'd even had surgery! :) He's certainly an energetic bun, that's for sure.  He's been eating fine, and generally he's been less energetic than usual, but still less drunk from the anesthesia than you'd expect. He's been doing a lot of resting, which is what he needs.  I've not let him out to play today; I was going to, but the fashion show was this evening so today's been busy.

It should have taken 30-35 minutes to get to the theater where the show was going to be; considering I was going to be going during rush hour, I thought it would take 45 minutes at the most. I had to be there by 6 (don't know why; show didn't start until 8 and there really wasn't anything for us to do until then.) I left my house at 4:45. I got to the downtown Nashville area around 5:50; I'm not sure exactly the time because I'm pretty sure it took at least 20 minutes to find somewhere to park, partially because a thunderstorm blew in and it was raining so hard I could hardly see a thing.  I finally found a place to park (I had to parallel park. DX)  and then after the show was over I had some trouble finding where I parked. It was dark and it'd stopped raining so nothing looked familiar anymore, and I didn't see my car on the street I thought I'd parked on.  All in all, this day kind of sucked.  My shoes and pants were soaked by the time I got to the theater. (Thank goodness I thought to bring my umbrella just in case.)

Back to the bunny, I think I may have sucessfully litter-trained Alonso!!! XD Almost, anyway.  He's using his litter box almost every time, and we've only had one or two accidents. :D He's at least learning that pee on floor=yelling, and pee in box=strawberry yum yum.

I've been doing some more writing recently. I've been on a Doctor Who kick because of the new season, and I've spent this week dying of anticipation of Saturday's episode, with the tantilizing title of 'The Doctor's Wife'.  AL;SDKFJASLDKJFA;SLDKJFA;LSDKFJ A;LSKDJFA;LSKDFJD

If you're unfamiliar with Doctor Who, then you probably don't understand why such a title has piqued the interest of every Whovian on the planet. Basically: 1.He's the last of his kind. DOES THIS MEAN THERE ARE MORE TIME LORDS??? 2. It's generally assumed he's been a widower since before the series began in 1963.  Like, the Doctor was a widower when the series started. Or at least, that's what we all thought. (Theories abound about this episode, but I won't go into them all here; though it is possible that the Doctor could have remarried at some point in time, but it is also possible that we're going to see the original missus.)

So anyway, I've been doing a bit of writing for it. I wrote a oneshot the other day, but I'm still refining it. It hasn't got a real plot; I just sort of wanted to play around with character interactions, especially after all the fun between the Doctor and River in the series 6 opener.  It ended up being mostly the Doctor and Amy chilling out giving each other a hard time, which is super fun too. And then I've got some ideas for a few drabbles in my head; mostly all centered around character interactions. I want to play around more with the dynamic between the Doctor and Rory.  It's so hard to say if they actually like each other or if they just tolerate each other because of Amy.

I've had the Tron: Legacy soundtrack playing in my head for the last week. I finally got around to buying it off iTunes and I've been listening to it lately.

Seems like there was something else I wanted to write about, but now I can't think of what it was. Eh. Clearly it's bedtime.
