It‘s hard to get rejected by the one you most expected to be by your side.
Sungmin sat atop his bed, carrot in one hand, bunny in the other. “Now mister bunny, you have to eat! We can’t have you starving, okay?” He pushed the carrot onto the sewn on mouth of the bunny. “Ah, you don’t want to eat? I guess I’ll have to eat it instead!” He munched happily on the carrot. Sungmin thought that mister bunny was being so stubborn tonight; but he didn’t really mind. What he was worried about was that his hyung was still nowhere to be found.
Heechul was greeted by Heebum in the corridor. He bent over, picked up his beloved pet and cuddled him in his arms. Heebummie’s such a good cat, Heechul remarked to himself. He knows just when I want to see him. Heebum purred as if he had heard that comment in his master’s head. He pawed at Heechul gently - it was like he was trying to stroke him. “Aish, Heebummah~” Heechul laughed rubbing behind Heebum’s ears. “Whose trying to be the master now?” He put down his cat and ventured up the stairs toward the bedrooms. He was hoping to find Sungmin there.
Yesung lay in waiting. He heard Heechul mumbling to himself outside his door and pounced. He quietly but quickly opened his door and grabbed his unsuspecting hyung. “YA KIM JONGWOON! What the hell are you doing?!” Yesung smiled sheepishly. “I’m not doing anything, hyung.” He grabbed one of Heechul’s hands, pulled him inside and closed the door behind him.
The door to Sungmin’s room was softly opened by Ryeowook. He peered inside to see if Sungmin was there. He watched as his hyung talked to his bunny and took bites out of the carrot. Ryeowook smiled. Sungmin was just too cute. He cleared his throat. “Sungmin hyung?” Sungmin looked up to see a timid Ryeowook at the door. He was disappointed. He wanted to see Heechul. “What is it, Ryeowookah? I’m kind of busy.” Ryeowook beckoned Sungmin to follow him. “There’s something I want you to see.” He led the way down the corridor to Yesung’s room.
“Let go of my hand, Jongwoon!” Heechul tried to pull away, but Yesung was surprisingly strong. “Are you crazy? What’s gotten into you?” Yesung saw the door to his room open. He grabbed Heechul’s head and planted a kiss on his hyung’s lips. Heechul tried to push Yesung away but he was holding on too tightly. He kept struggling until Yesung finally let go. Heechul turned to leave and saw a shocked Sungmin at the door, tears streaming down his face. Heechul didn’t even try to say anything. He just grabbed Sungmin’s hand and left the room. “Do you think it worked, hyung?” “I don’t know yet, Wookie. We’ll just have to see.”
