David Tennant's leaving Doctor Who

I'm happy for him. Plus, now I can move on with SM's new Doctor. I was always sort of scared when SM came on because he seemed very anti-Rose and it just broke my heart to think of Ten NOT lamenting Rose's loss....again. But with a new Doctor, it'll be easier to accept the fact that he doesn't mention her and if SM decides to have a new love interest, that'll be A TON easier to accept. I just don't know if I could do it if DT was still playing the Doctor. It seems only right that SM gets to start from scratch with his own Doctor. Plus, it's always been in the back of my mind, since it was leaked that Billie was coming back in the series four finale, that he'd leave, because I remember reading something about how Billie wanted to come back for David's last episodes. So.....I've always sort of suspected.

PLUS, this really gets my hopes up for a Broadway opening of Hamlet. THAT WOULD BE THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER. I know that my hopes could very possibly be dashed, but.....a girl can dream, right?

Good luck to David in all his future ventures! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for him. :D

Edit: Oh crap. I forgot that David LEAVING meant Ten REGENERATING. To regenerate means he'll have to get hurt badly enough to die. I'm not sure if I can handle watching Ten die. Why this disconnect? I don't know. It just hit me while watching this clip about David talking about leaving. Crap. Although Russell's idea of having a radioactive piano? Genius.

....Can he lick something that's coated in aspirin? Because as much as I want his ending to be big and heroic.......wouldn't that just be sort of funny? Can you IMAGINE the wank that would ensue? Hilarious!
