I finally did it! I made a header, changed colors and added a background pattern to this template from thefulcrum. It isn't anything special, but it's a huge step for me. I've made my own header. With IrfanView. o.O That thing has a 'paint' feature now and I didn't even know. It's simple, but useful. And works fine for when all you need is some colourful text on a white background ( Read more... )

I've spent one hour and a half looking for a decent header to use on my journal. My search was unsuccessful and my resort was a header that I've already used before. And it isn't like I didn't find 'good' headers, I had difficulty finding headers at all! Yes, I finally gave in and upgraded my lj account to Plus. Just because of the effing icon limit.
I lived with 6 icons for so long and I tried to resist, but I was overcome with the desire to have more. *greedy eyes*
Now I'll have to live with the fugly ads. If only I found out how to put them after the tags...
