The catch-word(s) phrase at work is ".. is what you're doing .. VALUE ADDED to the business .. " At first I thought it was some hokey biz talk, but the more I think about it, I see that it's actually a concept that I should be applying to my life outside of work. budgeting is one of the skills most people didn't learn or weren't taught. I learned to do it after I read this book by Andrew Tobias. Use Quicken or Microsoft Money. It makes it easier. Good Luck
