i love being back at school. i didn't realize how much i missed everyone until i got back on campus and it just felt so refreshing. i got here and unpacked with caroline and then we saw arianna and i attacked chel then i went to the new neubig with mel, caroline, cir and ben!!! im very pumped about the new food - they have tofu with their stir fry and i am SO EXCITED!! I went down to whitaker after and was attacked by love and it was soo great to see aly and julia and alyssa and bella and everyoneeee. we talked in the girls room for like two hours and everyone caught up on the new relationships and we had a big heart to heart about a lot of things we never wanted to tell anyone else in fear they'd judge and it was SO NICE for everyone to just put it out in the open. I am very proud of my mel =)
I was in whitaker for the entire day and then got dinner and we grabbed chels because she wanted to see whitaker and THEY HAVE REALLY CUTE NEW AUSTRALIANS haha and we all talked about our dorming situation for next year so we're getting a suite in alger. I am beyond excited, I feel like those girls are more like family then friends now. We're trying to make something happen spring break for a few days since we're all poor.
I just had my first class of the semester - statistics. I feel like I'm going to be working really hard in this class because 75% of my grade are exams, so I've already found that one class I'll be studying for more than anything. My next class isn't until 1:50 and I have the room to myself so I'm just relaxing until lunch with everyone at noon.
The big news in my life is that I got myself a boyfriendd =)
Josh and I are finally together as of Friday night at like 2am.
He told me even though we're apart, he just wants to be together with me because we're basically together anyway and even though he wanted to wait to see me, it just makes sense to make it official anyway. I told him I was scared he'd want to play the field still and want to have his random hookups when he's out and he told me no, he thought he wanted that for like a minute, but he really doesn't and I have nothing to worry about. I am soo happy and it feels so right and normal. We talk a good amount and we had a realy good talk the other night about us and distance and I really don't think it's an issue with us. It sucks not to see him, but it won't ruin us at all. i'm hopefully visiting him for Valentines Day weekend so i can give Caroline the room to herself and I get a chance to meet his friends and roomies=) Everyone has been so supportive about him and I; my mother is so happy and my extended family and all my friends here are dyingg to meet him so I hope I can make that happen.
