Monday. RP-thread to Angel and the Immortal:
Buffy has never been to Boston before. She has never even been on the East Coast, except for a few stopovers in New York, on the way to Europe and back. The first thing she notices getting off the airplane is that (1) it is really damn cold and (2) the people here don't even REALIZE it's cold. Before she debarks, the pilot cheerfully announces that "Boston is a pleasant and sunny fifty-six degrees." Buffy pulls her leather jacket around her, and wishes she had packed another sweater or six.
Not that she didn't pack enough. She checked two bags and ended up stuffing a third as a carryon. Well -- she doesn't know how long she'll be here. Or what the weather will be like. Or where she might need to go. Or who she might need to impress.
This is a working trip, Buffy. Find out what Wolfram & Hart is doing with the slayers, and if there's a way to help Angel and Connor (and the Immortal, too, she guesses, but only if he asks real nice). Maybe get a hold of Alan Shore because. . .well, because Anne needs legal advice about running the shelter.
Her trip has nothing to do with wanting to see any of them again. Especially Angel. She doesn't care about seeing Angel as a human. Vampire with a soul, human. No difference there, really. It shouldn't change anything between them. Yeah, right, Buffy. If everything is so simple, why is she so hard at work convincing herself?
She's supposed to meet Angel at the baggage claim, and so she looks for him there.
