Do think the problems you dwelled on was pretty important. Like how to keep your friends and family from dyin' at the hands of all the evil baddies in Sunnydale. Not to mention havin' to worry about savin' the bloody world a whole bunch of times. So don't think is anything wrong with being a little self-absorbed. When are doin' it for a good cause.
And glad your not a blood member of my little dysfunctional Aurelius family line. Since I'm in it with Dru, Angel & Darla... uh and their boy Connor, however that happened. So would only make things even more weird and awkward. If that's actually possible. Uh, but didn't the Master vampify you once. Durin' some type of nightmare wackiness that was happenin' around Sunnyhell. If that counted. Think that would actually make you equal in status to Darla, out rankin' the rest of us in the family pecking order. Though only bein' a temporary altered state of reality, not sure if that counts. And now think I got a bloody headache thinkin' about the craziness that is my vampire family tree.

And I totally like that thing about being higher up in the Aurelius line than Darla. Can I use that?

So yeah, am a bit more mellow. Less with tryin' to kill things to release pent up frustrations. And not gonna try to force stuff to happen. I respect our friendship, and don't wanna muck it up. If something is ment to happen, it will. If it's not meant to be, then that's life.
And really am happy that Angel is human. After all the crap the Powers That Be have have put the the poor brooder threw. He deserves a chance at a normal life. Even though I'd rather it be me ta have a shot at a happily ever after. I can't begrudge him that opportunity. Though looks like are still some bumps in the road for him and the ones he loves... that need sorted out to give him a rosy storybook endin'.
Bein' the only vampire with a soul these days. Is allot more pressure and expectations to live up too. Not sure if I'm up to the challenge, but not goin' all meltdowny again, if I can help it.
And yeah you can remind him that thanks to that brief time as a vamp turned by old batface. Could give you dibs on the title as the head chick in the Aurelius family nest. Sorry for the chicken analogy. But seemed fitting. The former head of the Aurelius family, The Master's real last name was Nest.
