Summer is here! I'm both enjoying and resenting it. Enjoying because of the light summer nights and mornings. Resenting because of the heat. I tell, I'm not made for the blistering sun and heat over 25Celcius. I'm also currently on a medication that makes me burn more easily. So no basking in sun for me this year.
I've been into home remedies and diy cosmetics lately. I made sunscreen and after sun cream myself this year, and so far they have worked just fine. I also started using shampoo with less chemicals. My coworker at the hotel made instant comment on how my forehead was looking more healthy, when we first saw after the winter break. I guess it's true too. Even my scalp has been less itchy. At the moment I'm trying a scalp mask.. If this works I'm never buying stuff from the stores again. And no, I'm not going to preach about chemicals. Kami knows I need enough meds to fight inflammations and depression and allergies. I just happen to notice how MY skin and scalp feel better without sulfates or any of the commercial stuff.
Weight loss project has not worked. Or getting rid of smoking. I guess I have enough on my plate without stressing about those too. Currently I'm just trying to make healthier choises and next goal is to motivate myself to exercise somehow. But in no way am I hitting the gym. So not my thing. But walking would be nice, now that my feet are better than last year. Or riding a bicycle. I just need to find motivation to getting myself out of the door.
