Summer time...
Time sure flies. I thought we just started the year 2019 and now we're celebrating Midsummer here in Finland. Where did this month or even year go?
A lot have happened. We've been camping with Scouts (boys and girls), twice actually. We've been visiting relatives and soon we'll go do some more visiting. I've booked flight tickets to Japan... Yes, you read that right. I actually, FINALLY, booked the tickets. I'll be going to Japan April next year, so the rest of the summer and autumn and winter will be full of that planning.
Today is Midsummer Eve and that means bonfire and staying up very late. Not that it matters, cause it's going to be light as day whole night. Haha. I'm going to see Taiko drummer and his concert again. Last time I had a chance was two years ago. So this evening I will try to talk as much Japanese as I can. Good practice, no?
I need self study motivation. My level of Japanese has no classes on the school I went, so I need to study on my own. I'm just not good at it, I know already. So I need a good motivation. Hmm... Any suggestions, anyone? Sweets or such is not working, done that already and that was epic fail.
A week from now I will have a holiday and that means my nieces visiting, amusement park, museums, a lot of swimming (yay) and hopefully just enjoying the summer.
