Baker might as well be my middle name.
I have bad habit of wiping my floury hands to the behind of my jeans when ever I bake, so before I'm TOO covered in the white stuff (and while bread dough rises) I decided to write what ever comes to my mind. Then I'll bake couple dozen breadrolls... for the fun of it.
Today has been good. We baked cookies with Tuomas earlier today and I frosted few with icing sugar - coffee mix. It tastes soooo good. The cookies are the "American" recipe, and I replaced the chocolate chips with almond crush. Seriously speaking, I don't which ones are better.
Half of the cookies I spread some egg and decorating sugar on before putting the sheets to oven. They taste good too.
I'm getting better with the inspirational cooking as well. Today I decided to make omuraisu, but as I found stuff from the freezer, I made stew instead. It was good. Rice, some chicken (ready cooked from the freezer), vegetables, pinch of herbal salt and voilá! It was surprisingly good and there's even some leftovers so I might be able to get that omuraisu later as well.
Current project, aka the breadrolls are for next weekend's lunch. Huge lunch breadrolls and whatever I decide to put in. I made double dough so we can have some fresh rolls today too. I love it when they're warm and butter drips from the top.
This evening I think I shall watch Gantz anime and have a beer. Maybe.
Toddler is... The Most Adorable Kid There Is. At least today. :D
He's been cuddly and adorable and doing all kinds of cute kid things today.
And I've lost some fat. Or then my jeans have streched. Cause they're falling off of me.
