After Tuomas was born I've been kinda outsider in our catering company. I help when there's stuff to do at home, but whenever we are needed somewhere else, Darling and his parents go by themselves and leave me and Tuomas home alone. And take almost everything from the fridges with them too. So I have to survive with what I found. Usually this means "throw everything together, add spices and stuff and let's see what we got" -lunch for me. Tuomas luckily usually have some babyfood cans so he can have decent food.
When I'm not too hungry after cutting salad ingrediends for 50 people or so, I can wait a bit and make some more time consuming things, like boil rice. Today I was lucky and there was leftover spagetti from mum-in-law's Italian salad that she made day before yesterday. And after rummaging in freezer and fridge I found eggs, blue cheese, majonese, some ham and corn... and we have large pouch of roasted onion! Oh, and soysauce!
Stir fry spagetti, ham and corn, put in on plate, add blue cheese, majo and roasted onions and make one egg omelette on top of it. A bit like you'd do omuraisu but with spagetti instead of rice. I'm stuffed and feel like sleeping a bit, but I know Tuomas will wake up from his nap anytime now.
Me is happy ^^
