Eurovision Song Contest!
So on May 29th me and my mom went to the rehearsal for Eurovision, which is supposed to be 100% like the live event later that night. It started around noon, and it lasted maybe three hours. I had been watching the semifinals, and already had a few songs picked out that I liked. But between the show and the live event I did make up a list of how I wanted it to turn out, I should've made one of how I thought it would turn out, but I wasn't that far off actually.

But to think I saw Alexander Rybak live, and more importantly: Madcon! They were just 5 feet away from me, and the whole audience participated in a choriographed dance. It was soooo much fun, and I would reccommend for everyone who ever has a chance at going to Eurovision, do it! It's so much better in real life, which me and my mom noticed when we saw it on TV later that night. Didrik (Norway) sang sooo much better when we saw him, and also Alexander Rybak sang better at the rehearsal too. The other difference was also of course that guy Jimmy Jump, who jumped on stage during Spain's song :p Lol lol.

^^ I really liked the French song, mainly because it reminded me so much of French people, after living and partying with them for the last year :)
We sat up all night waiting for the results, and this is how the night turned out. I took the liberty of putting my opinions behind the countries, and my absolutely favorite songs of the night bolded.
1. Germany (In my top ten, but not my favorite song to win)
2. Turkey (In my top ten)
3. Romania (Loved it, in my top ten)
4. Denmark (Loved it, in my top ten)
5. Azerbaijan (My absolutely favorite song of the night, I've been playing it on repeat ever since :p)
6. Belgium - Me and My guitar (Absolutely loved this one too!)
7. Armenica - Apricot Stone (Loved it, in my top ten)
8. Greece (Ehh)
9. Georgia (Ehh)
10. Ukraine (Ehh)
11. Russia (Hated it)
12. France (Loved it, in my top ten)
13. Serbia (Hated it)
14. Israel (Ehh)
15. Spain (Hated it)
16. Albania (Ehh)
17. Bosnia (Liked it)
18. Portugal (Ehh)
19. Iceland (Loved it, in my top ten)
20. Norway (Ehh, totally predicted this placement!)
21. Cypros - Life Looks Better In Spring (Loved it, in my top ten)

^^ I liked her and her song, not my absolute favorite to win, but at least it's a country that can afford it.
^^ I absolutely loved her, she had an amazing voice, and I got goosebumps hearing it live! She and Azerbaijan got my only vote for the night :)
