A biiiiig update!
I feel a huge ass entry coming up! I haven't used my computer in over a week, and I feel completely out of it :p I've just been really busy the last ten days, and therefore I also have a lot to update about :)
Saturday May 29th me and my mom were at the Eurovision Song Contest! I'll make a whole entry about it. The next day me and my dad went to an aviation show in the neighboring town, and met up with a few of my dad's friends, and I had asked Henriette earlier if she was going, and she and Malene showed up too :) It was a fun day, and we also flew a DC3, an old passenger plane. At the end of the day it was time for the F16 to show up, and that was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen and heard in my life! The noise was just indescribable, it's so loud car alarms go off. And for a machine like that be so close is just remarkable!
On Monday last week, I took the train all the way to Alex (a little over an hour), and Anastasia had taken the bus for four-five hours. It was go great seeing two of my closest friends from Disney again! It was Alex' birthday, and the three of us just hung out all day, with his adorable boxer doggy Charlie, that I completely fell in love with :p We also took a dive in Alex' pool, and me and Anastasia has decided that we're checking into their house, and turning it into our own private resort :p And me and Anastasia also baked a cake, before his parents came home, and the five (six including Charlie) hung outside on the terrace all night, talking about everything. At the end of the day they drove us to the trainstation for us to get home to Oslo. :)
The next day my godmother came to spend the night, since she had a conference by the airport, and she lives about two hours away from us. I haven't seen her in years, but we all got acquainted again over a restaurant meal. We don't have a guest room, so she had to stay in my room, and me and Frøya camped out on the floor in the living room, watching tv half the night :p
On Wednesday I went to Oslo around noon to meet up with some of the people from Disney. I quickly found Anastasia, it was such a blast to be spending so much time with her again, she was one of my regular theme park mates :p A little while later Alex and Christine came, and it was awesome seeing her again, she's the one I talked about boys with, 24/7 :p We went home to Christine for a little while, before we went to eat at a nice italian restaurant by the dock. The food was sooo good, definitely wanna go back there :) While we were finishing up our meal, JT finally arrived, and he wasn't my favorite person I worked with, but it was still nice to see him again :)
The rest of the day we just hung out in downtown Oslo, went for ice cream, shopped (window shopping on my part), sat in the park, and later went to eat dinner. We ended up sitting there for hours, before Christine went home, and the remaining four kept walking around. Anastasia bought us all an ice cream, and that was just about the best ice cream I've had. I think the people running the place were Serbian or something, and I had the most delicious raspberry ice cream! We all headed towards the train station, where we sat for a while before we said our goodbyes, and I hope it won't be too long until the next time I see them! :D
On Friday my mom threw her first of her two birthday parties. This one was with all the family, basically just a bunch of people I don't really care about, except for my cousin, who has really grown up since I've been gone, and I've only seen him three times since coming back home, but he's become one of my favorite relatives. We both ate too much food, and way too much desert :p
The next day me and my parents were going to our boat, and it was going to the my first sleeping on the boat! We got there pretty late, but we cleaned up the boat and ate lunch before we took it for a spin. It turned out it was pretty windy, with huge waves, and I've never minded big waves like that, but when it was myself behind the stearing wheel, it felt completely different. You definitely feel like you're responsible, and between having to keep an eye on the waves crashing into the boat, you also have to look at the GPS for shallows and infront of you for boats and other things to look out for. A lot to think about.
When we got back we went to buy a pizza for dinner, and we just sat there talking, listening to music and played some games, before it got dark, and we went to bed.
I slept well, and feel like I'm gonna like my room, I have another sanctuary :p The next day we ate breakfast before we headed over to big up Knut and Marit for a little outing. We went to one of the big islands, Herføl, where we first ate an ice cream before took a trek around the island. We spent a few hours together in the nice weather, before heading back. I had a nice weekend, one of many to come :D
On Monday me and Nina C finally got together again. We went to the movies to see Sex and the City, which I'll update about in a different entry :) We walked around the mall for a while aswell, and we both just agreed on it was nice to get out of the house :p
