(no subject)
ok, so while leaving tanning yesterday, i noticed this guy sitting in his car gawking at me. so i diverted eye contact and basically ran to my car. i heard him yell "hey!" as i was unlocking my door but i ignored him and got in. all of a sudden, he friggen pulls up next to my car and proceeded to have one of the most random, awkward conversations ever with me. and here's how it went. [what i said is in pink]...
-- how do you like your honda?
-- i like it.
-- cool. i'm frank.
-- hi.
-- i work at herb chambers in burlington so if you ever wanna come by and visit, i can get you a really good deal on a new honda.
-- oh, thanks, but my dad works at honda village, so i'd probably just go through him.
*awkward silence because he was obvi not expecting that answer. lol*
-- oh, ok then. well if you change your mind or ever just want to stop in and say hi, thats cool too.
-- yeah...
-- well, have a good day sweetheart.
-- bye.
-- bye hun!
and then he drove off. sooo awkward. lol. i told matt & he was pissed. he was like "i would've punched him if i was there." and i was like "well if you were there, he prob wouldn't have come over and talked to me." and then he made me tell his dad the story and he told his dad that he would've punched the guy. and his dad was like "yeah, its best to not start fights with random people in parking lots" haha. he was one of those 40ish year old guys who looks that old, but still thinks he is/looks like 23. lol. had he been a hot 40ish guy, i prob would've given him my name and been nicer. lol.
sooo me, matt, & his dad went to go look at that house i wrote about yesterday. DISGUSTING. the outside was really nice, but once we got inside, it was gross. it was dirty & dingy & needed a ton of work done to it. the floor was caving in some rooms. the listing said there were 2 bathrooms and we could only find 1. it was just gross. but our realtor is going to try and find us a different house. then, after that, he took us to uno's for dinner. yummyyyy. and he showed me baby pics he had in his wallet of matt & he was so friggen cute. lol. and his dad was making fun of him while we were at dinner so i was dying laughing. lol.
we found a house, well matt's dad found one, near the house we looked at yesterday, but it was much nicer. and its had a lot of work done -- new siding, new circuit breakers, new roof, new furnace, brand new deck, the bathroom was just redone, and it has a garage under the house which is pretty cool. they're asking $164,900, but matt's dad said he could prob talk them down to $150,000-$155,000. and, we found out that because matt is going to put so much down on the house as a down payment, that a mortgage company will give him a trial, 2 year mortgage, with about a 9% interest rate, to help build his credit and to see if he will be able to make payments on time every month. then, after that 2 year trial period, as long as you make your payments on time [which we will], they'll give you a 30 year fixed mortgage at the lowest interest rate possible. so we were super excited to find that out!! i'm still kinda stressing tho cause i start classes 1 month from tomorrow & it takes about 6 weeks to close for a house normally. soo, we're going to be cutting it really closely.
matt's getting his money next week!!!! well, he's getting some checks in for the stocks that his financial advisor sold for him. but, once he gets them in, he just has to open a bank account, then we're going to the apple store & buying new laptops for us!!! and he's going to take me shopping!! and, because he's promised me 2 summers [last year & this year] in a row that he'd take me to ireland and it hasn't happened yet, he's buying us plane tickets for december!! we want to leave either christmas night or early on the 26th then stay till like january 20 since i start classes again jan. 22. so basically my entire winter break will be spent there. siiiiick. =]
