updating for the first time in a few weeks.
so what has been going on in my life that is worth writing about? hmm....
-- matt's dad [jim] & his gf [rowena] got married!!! they just went to town hall to do it cause they've both been married before so they didnt want a big ceremony. me & matt were the first ones his dad told so that was cool. =] they're gonna have a dinner party at their house to announce it to everyone else. i kinda wish they had a real ceremony tho cause i looooove weddings!!! haha.
-- matt & i are going to look at a house tomorrow that he wants to buy!! its listed for $149,900, so he's hoping to talk them down to about $140,000. then he wants to put an $80,000 down payment down. but, we're worried we wont be able to get a loan for the rest of the amount cause we're so young and he hasn't had a steady job for over a year. but, we'd go through a mortgage company and they're way more lenient than banks are when it comes to loans. and he's putting a substantial down payment down, so that'll help too. plus, i've been at my job for 5+ years, so i think that would help. but, i dont know if he wants to put me on the mortgage now, or wait till we get married. his dad is coming with us to see the house, so i'm sure he'll tell us what we should do about it. i really hope we get the house. we both fell in love with it when we saw it. and its a perfect starter home. i'm just nervous cause i start classes on sept. 4th, so if we cant get this house, i dont know what we're gonna do about a living situation. if we do get the house, we know we wont close till after i start classes but thats not a big deal cause we decided we'll just get a hotel for a few nights. but wish us luck!!!
-- i'm sad about leaving my job and moving to nh & having to get a new one. =[ i've been here for 5+ as an employee, and i've been coming here since i was 6. so i've known a lot of my co-workers since i was that young so its like leaving a family. and when i get a new job, i'm actually going to have to do work. lol. well, i do work now, but i get away with a lot of shit since i've known everyone here for so long and that prob wont happen at a new job. *sigh* but thats just part of life.
and thats all i feel like writing about right now. plus, those are the only significant things i can really think about. lol.
